I've started having trouble with touchid. I see 6.3 was supposed to fix some bug with this, well, it does not for me. I run the 6.3 app on IOS, and, it asks for my touchid, I provide, and, it goes right back to asking me again. It shows that unlock screen where you can type the pin in, and, that's the only way out of it. This happens on an iPad Pro. So, I am already using 6.3, and, tried a few obvious things like turning touch id off and on within Textastic. Obviously, not an insurmountable issue, just annoying. I might try turning off passcode lock entirely later when I get back, and, turning that back on.

I just got the app to do quick edits on a website. I have had no luck being able to connect with SSH. I have the correct settings (host, user, password) because I am back to using PuTTY.

Den "run" Button habe ich bereits entdeckt, dieser ist aber nicht erreichbar da die Tastatur des iPad diesen verdeckt, sobald man in dessen Textfeld tippt.

Similar to the implementation for the application, "Screens". You enable "trackpad mode", and the entire screen works as a touchpad. For instance, using only the bottom right edge of the screen you could move and manipulate the 'cursor' all of the way across the screen like you would on any other trackpad, and tapping on the screen would then register a "click". This prevents people from having to work to tap in the exact right spot on a line

beim Versuch eine .js-Datei von GoogleDrive zu öffnen sind diese Dateien ausgegraut und lassen sich dementsprechend nicht öffnen. Txt-Dateien sind normal sichtbar und lassen sich auch öffnen. Ich habe den Editor aber gekauft um Javascript-Dateien zu öffnen und zu bearbeiten.

Der Entwickler wirbt explizit mit Javascript-Unterstützung.

Im manual habe ich auch keinen Hinweis gefunden.

Für einen Tip wäre ich sehr dankbar.

i have a router that has an admin I/f that speaks http. On a *nix box, I could upload a config file (an XML file) to the device using the "curl" tool with suitable parameters. If I could create a saved settings upload object containing the saved parameters as for curl, I could upload a file that I have edited in textastic on my iPad. I could probably do http downloads in a similar fashion too. This would be a fantastic time-saver for me. It's basically a feature request for one more protocol, straight http, plus some decoration. Optional TLS on top would be nice too

Sorry for my bad english. nteresting and well structured application, designed exactly for the use of which I need, namely to simplify the ability to write code in the dead time (travel, etc.) even with a mobile device that is normally designed for different uses. Lean and mean. If I may suggest an implementation that could really make a difference, it would be the ability to store and easily retrieve some personal code snippets frequently used. The only drawback however, slightly annoying and too laborious having to create the file on a screen and then having to change for upload to the server in order to return in the previous screen to process it and load it. It can not do so to be able to create the same position?

In Textastic 6, I cannot update my textexpander snippets. Textexpander is installed, but when I click on "update snippets" nothing happens... is it a known issue ?

I'm using textastic 6 on iPad Air with iOS 10. This issue is not present on my iPhone 6s with iOS 10.
