I can't seem to get my HTML and CSS files to work together. They work fine in dreamweaver. I can't find much support on the subject. Please help.

<!DOCTYPE html>

<rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" link href="style.css">

<meta charset="utf 8">

   <html lang="en">

<title>Doctors Abroad SA</title>

@charset "utf-8";

/* CSS Document */

/* Default Style */

header {

height: 150px;

margin-bottom: none;

Transfer error login denied

carlos beukes 6 years ago in iPad updated by palmpiiic 4 years ago 4

Hi -

I keep getting this error: 'Transfer error login denied'

Login details work fine in cyber duck, transmit etc on my mac so I do not believe problem is with login details.

Have tried different settings: active/passive...

I am worried that this app might not be for me. Would a refund be in order?

I'm willing to try a little more but at some point soon need to try another FTP app in the hopes it might work for me.

I heard good things about this app so I thought I'd just go straight ahead with purchasing it. I am not really knowledgable enough to use this app perhaps. I develop websites and never have problems with FTP related matters. This app has got me confused and a little disappointed.

Would be great to hear back from someone soon.

Thank you kindly,

File version history.

It would sure be nice to be able to role back to a previous file, when working with a live site.  It's very amateur of me, I know, but I have multiple school sites that I manage and a full version control, github, others, would be too much.  Just hoping.

preview pdf files in the left pane and support for "Download latest" functionality for pdf's

when i tap on a pdf file, a separate preview opens. i, therefore, cannot achieve "download latest" functionality for pdf's, which is a pitty.

Support VHDL-2008 syntax

Daniel Kho 7 years ago in iPad updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 7 years ago 1

I like your text editor! But please support new VHDL syntax from VHDL-2008. I bought this specifically to edit VHDL and Tex. For a start, have block comments at least.

Not a bug

Symlinks not working on SFTP connection

Joshua M. Cowles 7 years ago in iPad updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 7 years ago 1

I added a SFTP connection to my server.  I was going through my directory structure, but the Textastic interface would not follow symlinks on my server.  It read them as files and tried to download them.  Since all of my web files are in a symlinked directory, this issue makes Textastic unusable for me.  I'd love it if this could be fixed soon!

the editor is awesome, but missing one important feature: github support, or even better, git support

Text Expander snippets don't expand the first time if there is not a space before the shortcut

Brian Byrd 4 years ago in iPad 0

My primary use of Text Expander (TE) is to insert HTML tags. For example, I have set up a snippet so that when I type p; it is expanded to <br><br>

In Textastic, when I type

Hello World.p;

the p; does not expand the first time. When I erase the p; and type it again, then it expands as it is supposed to. But when I put a space before the snippet shortcut, it works the first time:

Hello Word. p;

I think TE snippet shortcuts should expand immediately the first time, without having to erase and retype them, and without having to put an unnecessary and unwanted space before them.

Thank you for checking into this. BTW, I love your app ... keep up the awesome work!
