plase solve it.
when i re-download the same php file from my ftp, the charset is UTF8 before and after crushing the previous file it become western ISO (there is no modification done in the content of the file between the 1st download and the 2nd, only the bug change the charset) .
Another thing I saw is the modification of the carriage return, my files are encoded in UTF8 w/out BOM and CRLF carriage return (I use notepad++ on my PC), and when I crush the same files they become western ISO and LF carriage return.
Well, that's all I think.

On iPad Mini iOS 6.1.3, the first suggestion was selected automatically, allowing to navigate suggestions with up and down arrows. It was very useful!
On iPad Mini Retina iOS 7.0.3, the first suggestion is no longer selected, this is very annoying because you need to leave the keyboard and tap on screen.
Could you please revert to the previous behaviour? Or correct this change that came with the new iOS?
Thanks a lot!
I like this product a lot. I wish I could "download" files from an html server. In other words, I want to download an html file by http: same as downloading a file by FTP. Is that possible?

Should be fixed with background downloading. That would avoid the crashing when there are a lot of files. Mine crash when i try to download 1000 files from sftp. Also, i' love an option that when app is foreground stop the ipad from locking the device.
Categorized as a bug, because the feature that is now semi-broken.
Not sure if this idea board is being used still, last post is 9mo ago, but the app seems to still be in development, given (relatively) recent updates.
Choosing a specific html template (not yet pressing Done) then changing it to another and pressing Done crashes the app.
It will be fixed in Textastic 4.2.2
