Ability to import fonts for HTML so we can see the result

Michael Barno 12 years ago in General updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 12 years ago 1
Hi, can you add the ability to import your own fonts to the app. That way we can set fonts through HTML and view it with that font. Thanks.

And by the way this app was worth the $9! Keep it coming!

Basic error reporting

Diego Chuman 10 years ago in General updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 10 years ago 1
I am a web developer, I find it stressing that after I code happily on my iPad, I have to go home and fix all the errors on my computer.
I just wish if you could at least offer errors such as spelling mistakes and simple PHP errors, then I would be a lot more glad!

For switching quickly between files, example, I read a plist I created representing a default value array and I wanted to write it into code. Since its a large plist I need to switch back and forth from the file to the plist

Error: the file couldn't be opened

freeranger 9 years ago in General updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 9 years ago 1

Using the latest version of Textastic for iPhone or iPad, the "recent files" list does not work for files from OneDrive.

Here is what I do:

- Open.. and find a file on onedrive - the file opens fine

- Go back to the menu and click on "Recent Files"

- select the file I just opened

- get an error "The file couldn't be opened".

If I go via the Open... link again and find the same file, I can open it again no problem.

I do find then that it now appears twice in the "Recent Files" menu - from the first attempt and now the second attempt, and neither of them work,

I'd like to have an option to convert all tabs to spaces (or vice-versa) for a selection or the whole document.

How to define new code completions?

Florian Lücke 12 years ago in General updated by Teddy Svoronos 9 years ago 9

I know there are examples for custom completion files, but somehow I just don't get it. I would really like code completion for LaTeX on my iPad, so I copied one of the example files, generated a new uuid on my MacBook using uuidgen and changed some stuff around, then uploaded the file to my iPad and restarted Textastic, but the code completion window won't show up. I feel like my main problem is the pattern in the context part of the file. Which kind of regex does Textastic use? Textmate uses Oniguruma Regular Expressions, does Textastic, too? Also, what happens if the regex matches/does not match?

I thought it should be fairly easy to create those files, but unfortunately the git repository has not been updated for almost a year and the file format is not documented :( Help is greatly apreciated!

Cannot distinguish long file/directory names

As in renaming or moving files, make it possible to always view naming in auto fit mode instead of the length being truncated
