Import .jpg changes suffix to .jpeg ("Open In")
Importing a .jpg using "Open In" causes a rename to .jpeg – This is sort of ‘uncool’. Would be nice to see that the file suffix doesn't change. So far, great app!

Change the ratings from 17+ to 12+
you don't really have unrestricted web access so why leave it like that
Thanks

You can enter arbitrary URLs when you open the preview screen and switch from Local to Remote, so this is necessary.

Save file before upload
Currently when making a change and immediately selecting upload file, the most recent edits are not sent to the server. After leaving textastic and coming back, a second upload sends the changes.

JavaScript repl
Would it possible to include a Javascript REPL? That would be handy! The app jsany https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jsany-javascript-anywhere/id363452277?mt=8/ includes a viever and JS editor. So I think it technically can be done.

Error overwriting files with SFTP
It asks for overwrite confirmation and then returns "Error in the SSH layer." The strange thing is that this exact process (Download a file, upload the same file again to overwrite) works fine with Goodreader SFTP using the same login information. My SSH server logs don't indicate any error, they just are missing the actual file transfer. On the Textastic side, if I enable logging then here is the relevant section:
== Info: Connection #0 to host xxxx.xxx left intact
== Info: Re-using existing connection! (#0) with host xxxx.xxx
== Info: Connected to xxxx.xxx (xx.xx.xx.xx) port 22 (#0)
== Info: Could not seek stream
== Info: Connection #0 to host xxxx.xxx left intact
== Info: FTP: command REST failed

== Info: Error in the SSH layer
== Info: Re-using existing connection! (#0) with host xxxx.xxx

Please help; I'd much rather use SFTP to access my server.

Add folder to iTunes
Is there any way to add a folder to iTunes? It would be great if I can actually add a folder not just a file so I do not have to go move a file into its place again. Please kindly give me a suggestion. Thank you very much.
