Occurrences highlight
It would be really usefull to highlight every occurrences of the currently selected word (a la Eclispe for example).
iOS underline for misspelled words with Auto-correction
The growing adoption of Textastic brings new opportunities for applications in general writing.
The auto-correction option in Textastic allows the user to use the iOS spelling suggestions above the embedded keyboard, but greater functionality can be leveraged from the iOS spelling checker.
The idea: include the red underlined mark from the iOS spelling checker into the text editor when the auto-correct option is activated (or with an additional setting).
The benefit: Textastic would significantly enhance the functionality for users of plain text, latex files, taskpaper files, among others.
Sync connections between devices.
Makes all the servers I connect to available on all my devices without recreating them manually. My connections change often, as do my devices depending on my travel and expected locations. Delete a server connection and it deletes on all devices. Create a server connection and it shows on all devices.
I use “>Prompt 2” by Panic, Inc. for command line work on servers. All connections are synced between devices automatically.
Code Minimap (syntax highlighting would be a bonus)
I would love to see a code minimap with syntax highlighting support make its way to Textastic especially for use on my iPad Pro 12.9inch 2nd-gen.
This will bring your app one step closer to desktop counterparts (Atom, Sublime, Visual Studio Code, etc.) and I’m sure will make a lot of power users who wish to stay mobile very happy :)
syntax highlighting for taskpaper
thanks for this app! are there any plans for syntax highlighting for taskpaper? would be perfect working on files from taskpaper mobile.
Possible to add fonts with anyfont?
I am wondering whether it would be possible to use the app Anyfont to add custom fonts on iOS that Textastic could use. According to the Anyfont app description: "With AnyFont you can install additional fonts on your device which can then be used by other apps which make use of the device's font book."
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/anyfont/id821560738?mt=8
Does Textastic use the device's font book?
