iOS 5.1

Olaf Kolle 13 years ago in iPhone updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 13 years ago 1
It's a pity that Textastic for the iPhone requires iOS 5.1. Is there now way to code it also for 5.01?

German translation of "Failure when receiving data from the peer" is missing.

Thanks for the amazing app!
Answer
Textastic uses libcurl for FTP and SFTP file transfers.  Unfortunately, the error messages of libcurl are not localized. But, while it would be nice if they were also available in German, I don't think it's really that important.

Turning off the highlighting of the current line

I'd liike to be able to turn off the cursor highlight while editing plain text, or configurable based on a file type.

Could you add the font "Aurulent Sans Mono"

Jack Stratton 14 years ago 0
Here's a link:
http://www.dafont.com/aurulent-sans-mono.font?fpp=50&psize=xs&text=%3Ctag+thing%3D%22test%22%3E+%40font-face+{color%3A%230099FF+url%28%27test%2Ftest.css%27%3B}
It is under the GNU Public Domain license, so you probably could use it.
It has all the coding characters, like {, [, (, :, ;, ", ', #, % etc...

Emoji Support

Emoji characters just get displayed as two blocks.

While I assume that not many people need them for their work, I think they should be supported as they are now available on every Apple platform.

Remote Image Editing

Jan Galler 13 years ago updated 13 years ago 0
What really would be cool:
some very SIMPLE editings of remote images. For example shrink an image. Just simple, no Photoshop! :)
(Further just all Preview.app of Mac OS can do)

Please add option to use ChatGPT in codeing for code advise, code review and coding help directly in code.

By adding our own OpenAI key to Textastic.

Built-in Calculator Tool

Customer request: The only way computers understand anything is through math. Having access to a calculator on the code page of the app sure would be
helpful.
