Wie wäre es mit einer deutschen Version von Textastic. Als Muttersprachler müsste es doch einfach umzusetzen sein.

Text Highlighting support for more than 80 source code languages

John Ryan 5 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 5 years ago 3

Web page indicates "With support for more than 80 source code and markup languages" - but I can't see how to get the Mac version to use anything but HTML. I can see options to configure TextTastic - but no documentation on how to.

Question:  How can I configure TextTastic to highlight SQL.  Code completion would be great, but basic text highlighting would be great.

Minimap

UNUSED_ACCOUNT 5 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 5 years ago 1

I have bought Textastic for a few months, and I feel good (I use it mainly for C / C ++). But the only thing I regret is the lack of the minimap. As it allows you to see the code structure and go immediately, in a code section and change it. Although it may not be available initially for all templates, but at least we could appreciate this features in an excellent editor.

Thanks a lot,

R.P. (Developer)

Expand file tabs to use full window width as macOS apps usually do

Peter Thomas Horn 5 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 5 years ago 1

This is a minor aesthetic issue. Having one or more tabs they usually have a fixed, maximum size and are aligned to the left. To improve consistency with other macOS apps which use the default tab behaviour (in example Safari and Xcode) tabs should use all the available width.

I've bought Textastic for iOS, does that mean I get the macOS version too?

ethanowen124 7 years ago updated by drmrbrewer 2 years ago 4

Purchased the app on my iPad and love the fact that I can have my files automatically sync with the web server. Previously used apps such as Prepros but its easier controlling ti from one program rather than 2.

Add support for custom keyboard bindings at the OS level.

Liza Olmsted 11 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 11 years ago 1
Hi, I just tried the trial version.  I've customized my Mac OS keybindings so that ctrl+arrows moves backward and forward a word, just like in Windows.  (To do this, I edited ~/Library/KeyBindings/DefaultKeyBinding.dict.)  Textastic doesn't respect my customizations, which means I can't navigate text with the keyboard the way I usually do.

Otherwise, it seems like a great program.
