I work on my site in my public dropbox folder. So I download the files locally edit them and then upload them again to see results online. So if the work is good and I want to deploy it to the we server, how do I do that? Currently the upload button only does it with the dropbox, how can I take a file that I downloaded from dropbox and upload it to an ftp server?

I purchased Textastic for the iPad recently and it has already paid for itself in terms of allowing me to code on go. I love that it supports custom TextMate bundles, since I work with some pretty obscure languages for embedded systems. The local hierarchical file system with WebDAV support and links to remote content is wonderful! It is just what I was looking for and I have recommended it to others at work who have been sitting on the fence about buying a tablet due to their apparent limitations. Apple should thank you for coming out with such a capable editor!

Recently I've found the keyboard doesn't appear when in portrait view. It also happens in landscape, but less frequently. This renders the app useless, unfortunately, because I love it. You have to close the app, and restart it. Quite time consuming.

Please fix.

When I select text using my finger and i have a keyboard attached via bluetooth, I cannot then expand/contract the selection using the keyboard. Also, I cannot put the delete key on the keyboard to delete the contents of that selection.

I setup an FTP connection using an IP address to a server a I have in my office. I know this works because I have a other workstations/laptops connecting just fine. This is a development server. I can also connect from my IPAD using Safari. I just can not connect through Textastic. There is nothing fancy - no username/password, no ssl, port 21, passive mode. The logs show nothing but can not connect to IPADDRESS.

When set to WebDAV - the server appears to work, except it will not show PHP files live - just the code. It does show the HTML files live. I tried to upload files to the clould and they ended up local. Even though it said they were being copied to the cloud.

Do you have more detail documentation somewhere? Or some fixes that address these issues. I just purchased this software.

when i re-download the same php file from my ftp, the charset is UTF8 before and after crushing the previous file it become western ISO (there is no modification done in the content of the file between the 1st download and the 2nd, only the bug change the charset) .

Another thing I saw is the modification of the carriage return, my files are encoded in UTF8 w/out BOM and CRLF carriage return (I use notepad++ on my PC), and when I crush the same files they become western ISO and LF carriage return.

Well, that's all I think.
