IT would be great ir the App could natively encrypt and work with encrypted files.
In case iPad is stolen or lost, our docs Will not be al risk

Markdown support would be excellent.
I would really like this feature as it would make the app very efficient and would likely attract quite a few users

Support Google Appengine integration
Google Appengine has nice features::
- a python command line allows you to retrieve the code, you don't even need a Dropbox copy
- another command line allows you to publish
You can post test versions on the site and compilation/ testing can be done in a web view.
Does Apple allow bundling a full python run time? That would make all that possible (including python validation on local iPad)

Swipe Selection
Hi,
If I'm allowed to share an idea again to improve textastic, then I have maybe a very good one. the cursor wheel is very nice, but for the most situations to slow and complicated. Furthermore, it steals a lot of space on the canvas. Can you maybe implement the cursor swipe selection idea? I saw it already in codes and it is very nice and useful, specially for a text editing app like textastic.
Here is an example : http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6h2yrBK7MAY
But overall again thanks for textastic ( we can't say enough thanks for this great peace of software. It is very useful for me )

Boxcryptor support
I have started using BoxCryptor to encrypt files in my DropBox account. It would be great if Textastic could view those files by decrypting them after downloading from DropBox. Even nicer if it could encrypt them before uploading them too!

Background uploading
Hi. Firstly, I love you app, it's brilliant. My only wish would be that when I click "quick upload" (which I do regularly when editing as a way of saving) it would be great to not have a pop-up screen which shows the progress of the upload and stops you using the app. Ideally it would be great to click "quick upload", a status bar at the top or bottom then shows saying what file is currently being uploaded but the editor stays useable.

That would make sync painless for both the devs and the users.
