"One tap to edit" feature, to allow users edit their FTP files on-line
For security, Textastic could cache opened files in local storage.
While browsing in FTP server, tapping in a single button right in the file name would open it for instant edit. So, user would make any changes and then, tapping in "Save" button, that opened file would be instantly uploaded, without confirmations, easily and faster.
That feature are present in many SDKs and similar softwares like Coda (i use that one), and I really wish Textastic could have this feature soon!
Your app is amazing, Alexander!
Congratulations!
Open Multiple (Just Two) Files Simultaneously
I often need to compare two files to see if they are really the same version or not and even without actual diff functionality, two text fields can be scanned through on an iPad really quickly.
There is also the situation where we must read one part of code (whether in the same file or a different file) while we are writing another part of the code. One pitfall of iOS is the inability to open the same app multiple times: I could attempt to use the task switch 4-finger gesture to switch between two apps in order to be able to quickly view another part of my code but that is hugely cumbersome.
This would be a really cool addition that i hope will one day make it into this already fantastic App.
I'd like to point out, Mr. Blach, that as with any feedback site for software this forum has too many people making rude unconstructive comments. I'd like to emphasize that your hard work is appreciated by me and I am sure many others as well. Keep up the good work!
An organiser for saving regex snippets.
Great product and having regex is indispensible. Would be even more brill if had an organiser to save regex snippets for re use.

Files not syncing with iCloud
please can you advise how I can fix this?

Http server instead of plain webview
It would be great if you could implement something like cocoa http server instead of using a file path so when we're building web pages we can use the likes of less, angular, backbone which all currently won't work because of being a file path protocol and not a local web server.
To clarify further, having this ability also gives us the opportunity to have something similar to Codea's "Aircode" and to run Ajax requests in page, it will throw a security error at the moment because of not being a http protocol.
Super Tool!
Ich habe schon Projekte damit online gestellt, aber das ginge natürlich besser, wenn direkt aus der App möglich.
Button for PASTE
I saw it recently that is very hard to select and paste code at a given position. E.g. I select and cut some parts of my code making some new lines at an another position of the code, then I need to tap the same position again to popup the paste overlay panel. Cool would be to have paste / copy / cut button in the cursor wheel panel :)
Anyone else who feel the same?
