files changed on server not refreshed on ipad via ssh
A file on the server has been update but i can' t seem to get it copied back down to the ipad (use sftp connection) How do i get the local files to update?

Design mode
I would love to see a design mode like dreamweaver that lets me edit the design instead of just the code, and it makes the code. I like to use that to create HTML code by just typing like a normal text editor, then I can copy the code into my web system afterwards. that would be a really cool feature.

Split view multitasking for the iPad?
Does this app supports split view multitasking for the iPad Air 2?

Suggestions for next version
- List of open files, either as tabs, or a popover view
- Mark files that have been changed locally. If this already happens, well, I'm missing it somewhere. ;)
- Option to auto synchronize with Dropbox. I actually dislike having to re-sync every time I make changes.
- Auto retry on failed upload to Dropbox.
- Allow for root syncing of Dropbox. What I mean by that is say I pulled down a subfolder to edit locally. I don't to have to have the same folder selected in the Dropbox area. It would be nice to be able to just push changes back, without having to navigate through Dropbox to get to the folder you want to sync.

Thank you for providing such a great app! I am sure to get a lot of use from it but am having difficulty logging into my FTP server over explicit tls. Is there a way to email the FTP debug log for your review? The FTP server works since I could login with WinSCP on Windows.

TextExpander snippets don't always expand first time
When I open a new document in Textastic, sometimes (quite often) the TextExpander snippet doesn't expand and I have to retype it. This also happens sometimes in the middle of a page.

Show natural dates for file timestamps
I am really enjoying Textastic (for iPad), but I too have stepped into the mess that can be after having modified files in the app and on a dropbox account.
Instead of using timestamps to compare files and keep track of where they came from, I would suggest to have a natural date display on files (e.g. today, yesterday, then 20XX-XX-XX) to quickly see when files were modified in app and on remote system.
Another feature on top of this would be the ability to display a list of recently modified files (I now use the accessed files list, but not all I have changed)

Select and Edit in columns - like in textmate.
I miss the columnar selection and edit options in textmate. Specially the edit.

Don't break words when wrapping lines / break lines on word boundaries
Currently, the line is broken at the column specified in the apps's settings without respecting word boundaries.
