Send HTML file as email body

Alexander Blach (Developer) 15 years ago updated 14 years ago 0
Use Textastic to write your html mails:

Allow the user to send an html file as the email body instead of as an attachment. This could be an option when the user selects "Mail File" from the file action popover.

Having major issue trying to link my Dropbox account to Textastic even though I have a Dropbox app on my ipad.

Kevin Anderson 12 years ago in iPad updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 12 years ago 1

waited 15 minutes on 3 separate attempts to link my dropbox account with the app.... NO SUCCESS! This needs to be faster. I still haven't successfully linked my account.

Specify theme per file type or connection

echooddbodge 12 years ago in General 0

Hi, sorry couldnt see how to do this via searches.

Is it possible to ask for themes per file type, or per connection.

I edit old school Fortran, C and C ++ on one connection, and asp.net/c# sql on another onnection.

This is very minor, but i currecntly change the theme manually when swithcing between them. C dosnt look good at all when viewing in the asp theme i use.

Love the app btw :-)

Markdown to HTML: Inline HTML <link>; '<' to HTML Entity

Lester Lab 12 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 12 years ago 3

I like your app!

I'm a new user [Textastic 4.3, iOS 5.1.1, iPod Touch 5th gen].  I'm also a Markdown newbie.

Is it expected behavior that a Markdown file containing a line consisting only of a <link></link> tag, that is separated from the rest of the Markdown text with blank lines, and with no blank spaces preceding the tag, "Generates HTML" with this tag enclosed between <p></p>?  Or is this a bug?

Also, is it unexpected that a '<' character embedded within a Markdown text line is not converted to its HTML entity?

The behavior of the second item affects the output to the Preview.

FTPS - SSL connect error

Milan 12 years ago in iPad updated 12 years ago 8

Hi,

I am not able to connect to any of my FTP servers using FTPS (port 21 on one server and 990 on the second one).

For both connections I get  "Transfer Error: SSL connect error".

In the log I can see:

== Info: About to connect() to ftp.hereisdomain.com port 990 (#0)

== Info: Trying HERE-IS-IP...

0140: ............

== Info: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol

== Info: Closing connection #0

Can you please give me some hints?

Thanks,

Milan

PS: Thanks for the app. I am really excited about the capabilities of Textastic for iPad, the additional row is great and I wish to have it in other applications too :-).

Support for T2D (TouchDraw) file extensions

Terry Cabeen 13 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 13 years ago 1
I'd love to be able to open native Touchdraw files from mail and not have to go through dropbox. They're basically SVG format, so SVG syntax highlighting could theoretically be automatically applied when t2d files are opened?

Thanks :D

Add Rackspace Cloud Files Support

elronaldo 14 years ago 0
In addition to Dropbox support it would be nice if you added support for Rackspace Cloud Files.  Then we could access all our company cloud files if we need to restore some code from a backup that is stored in the cloud.

Details on the Rackspace Cloud files API is available at http://www.rackspace.com/cloud/cloud_hosting_products/files/api/

You could also add support for Amazon S3 storage containers.
