Highest Textastic version for iOS 4
I will not update to iOS 5 as it will apparently slow down my iPad 1.
Is there any way I can update to a later version of Textastic?
What is the highest version of Textastic that is available for iOS 4?
Would it be possible for you to remove dependence on iOS 5?

Is MEL support as in Maya Embedded Language? and if it is then why is there no syntax highlighting and ANSI encoding?

Add a server time offset field to match local time, so local files have same time stamp.
This would also most likely solve the synchronization of only changed files issue raised by hassan habbak 4 months ago.

Why are no options "Links to Remote Connections" visable for a file I download from Dropbox to my iPad?
I installed Dropbox on my iPad3 and linked it to Textastic.
I was able to successfully view and edit the document in Textastic.
The File Properties > Links to Remote Connections shows:
Not Linked, but there are no options to select.

Hi, I just wanna say that this app is awesome! I've just got into coding and the ease of writing CSS and HTML is amazing, but I was wondering, if I can somehow one day learn to code in say, C++, is there a way for me to view the programme in the app itself, or do I need to switch to a desk top? (I don't actually have a desktop, so it could be problematic:( ) but still, amazing app!

Bug:While keyboard open uploading files, does not upload
Whilst I'm typing and I tap on the share looking button to update the file I've edited, it shows a window that never loads, only if I lower the keyboard and THEN tap on the icon it works. Small bug though big help for rushing through hundreds of lines of code and updating something quick!
