I'm currently working on Textastic 3.0 which is going to support custom syntax definitions using TextMate bundles.

Hello,

yes, this problem exists since iOS 5 beta 5. I hope Apple fixes this. Please either use a non-beta version or show the Files section in the Popover where this problem doesn't exist.

I don't want to disable it globally because it can be a destructive action possibly overwriting a file you don't want to overwrite on a live server.

But, disabling it on a file-by-file or connection basis sounds like a good idea!

I'm working on Textastic 3.0 every day and it's going to be released when it's ready.

The problem is that the WebDAV server doesn't send the "Content-Length" header. The bug will be fixed in the next update.

I put it on my todo list. The version I currently use (2.0.4) didn't have that option.

Are there any other special options you want to see enabled?

Can you please write a few words what exactly you want to see implemented?

Do you want to have two views of the same file or maybe two different files side-by-side?

Did you notice that you can horizontally scroll the row of additional keys to get to the dollar sign? @ is not yet in there.

So, what happens when you try to edit such a file?

Can you send me the file to support@textasticapp.com so I can try to reproduce the problem?
