So what is the convention to quickly compile and run your code?
I'm mostly using C at school, but would like to know the conventions for Java and Python as well.

Symbols filter
It would be great to have filters in the symbol window
Filtering either call or definition
Or even better to be able to filter out some strings

search results highlighting
the search functionality is great.
another tweak would be awesome. an search result highlighting like metalscroll does. its optimized as variable highlighting. with that plugin for visual studio you just double click on a variable, the plugin triggers an in-file search for that variable and highlights all the search results with a specified color. without an seperate window/widget shown.
so its very easy to track a variable in the code.
you can find the free plugin for visual studio 2008 here

Would love to see support for MQL4. Great app!
MQL4 is the language used in Metatrader.4. Would be nice to have this support for the portability this app provides.

Flag if uploaded file would overwrite a newer file
I work on two systems, iPad and Mac. Sometimes I have files on the iPad edited and uploaded and the same file, unedited, on Textwrangler, Mac. I occasionally forget to check files and overwrite the newer file on the server. Dohhhh.

External display support
Would be cool to connect an external display and have it show the preview window while editing code on the iPad that way I'm not going back and forth.

Own Workflows
Hi Alex,
I have an idea for your Textastic project. I know this idea would be hard work, but maybe an option for IAP if you want to realize it. Do you saw the amount of feedbacks here? The most of it seems to be in realization of project stuff... like organizing files automatically, support things like SASS/LESS and so on. Maybe it would be a good idea to implement a workflow engine like in the Editorial application, which allows us to solve that problems on our own with customizable flows. It would be cool if the workflow engine is written on top of NodeJS, specially for the problems like SASS/LESS, because there are many NodeJS libraries out there to handle these stuff.

Fixed
Download from WebDAV Crashs the App
The App crashes if I want to download a file from a WebDAV Server ( GMX Mediacenter or 1&1 Smartdrive) . The upload works fine.

The problem is that the WebDAV server doesn't send the "Content-Length" header. The bug will be fixed in the next update.

If you change settings often (I often change tabs and word wrap), having to scroll back to the usually same setting is tiresome. Additionally, remembering the scrolled position in themes would also make it a lot faster to test them all.
