TextExpander Touch 2 Support
I would like to see TextExpander Touch 2 Support on the iPhone.

Use the word under the cursor for the find box
When I open the find box, it's blank. You could fill it with the word under the cursor. Then you would need a button or gesture to repeat the previous search, in case it was different to the word currently under the cursor.

Syntax highlighting for the SAS language
It would be wonderful if you could implement syntax highlighting for SAS. There are files for Text Wrangler, and VIM already. Otherwise, a system where we could drop in new syntax highlighting would be excellent!

Textile transformation in Preview pane
Being able to write Textile in Textastic and see the HTML output in the Preview pane, as we can now with Markdown, would be a great addition.

Allow ftp download/upload while app is in background
Maybe it's not possible, but it would be great if the ftp down/upload resumes while Textastic is not active ... When having lots of files queued, the app has to stay on top and so the iPad is "blocked"

Search remote connections for files and folders
Add a remote search for files and folders so that you can enter the name of the file or folder and it will search the entire remote site with subfolders for files and folders with that name.

Self-signed SSL certificates are not recognized in Textastic 2.2 (WebDAV)
While connecting to a secure webDAV Server with a self-signed certificate, Texttastic tells me that the certificate is unknown and that the connection to the server is being denied.

Update: there is now a "Verify SSL Certificate" switch in the WebDAV connection configuration screen. Switch it to "Off" to accept self-signed certificates.
Previous comment and workaround:
Seems like I forgot to implement the "Verify SSL certificate" switch as
it exists for FTPS connections. I'll add it in an update.
As a workaround, you can e-mail yourself the self-signed SSL certificate. Then retrieve it on your iPad and open the certificate file. iPad will ask if you want to install it. Check it to install SSL Certificate.
I've heard that you can also use the iPhone Configuration Utility to install certificates on devices. (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL851 (Mac) or http://support.apple.com/kb/DL926 (Windows)).

Add dictionary lookup support
When you select a word in most iOS apps, there is a button called 'Define' next to 'copy' etc, which opens the inbuilt dictionary at that word's entry. An incredibly useful tool, especially for non-native speakers...
