Accessibility with VoiceOver?

EricK 14 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 12 years ago 6
Hello,

I teach development and I have a blind student. All of your UI objects are accessible but the text editing area is not. Would you consider making the editing view accessible to VO? The blind community gets the word out when a good accessible app becomes available.

Thanks ,

-Eric
Answer

Clojure support removed?

John Doe 13 years ago updated 13 years ago 2
I saw the year old thread about Clojure support having been added, but in the app, a .clj file is currently not recognized, nor is Clojure listed as one of the languages with a syntax bundle. Was it removed at some point?

Erlang syntax highlighting broken if a comment appears in the file.

KeyboardJockey 14 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 14 years ago 2
Erlang comments being with a % character on a line. After the first comment line in a file, all subsequent lines have the comment color, even if they are not comments. For example:

% This is a comment
my_function() ->
    X = 25,
    X.

Put this in a file and try it with and without the comment line to observe the behavior I described above.

widescreen should use the entire screen - not waste space!

Pem 14 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 14 years ago 0
iPad widescreen mode, with file list hidden, needs to use the entire screen. There is a huge amount of wasted space on the left and right sides. This space should be used to allow longer lines of text (ie, code).

I consider this a bug, as there is no reason for the huge amount of wasted screen space. Please fix.
Answer
Just go to Texatastic's settings screen and change the "Wrap Column" setting to a higher value (depending on the chosen font and font size).

Please please please please give me a #%^^%}^ save button!!!!!!

Blockem 14 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 14 years ago 1
Whilst saving every few secs is nice in theory, when dealing with slow links what it does is a wait for save check cycle that can last 10 minutes, it makes the application almost unusable for my purpose of supporting clients. Of course if I have missed the feature somewhere I humbly appologise however this is just plain excruciating.

Linked CSS

Johnny Lockjaw 14 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 13 years ago 2
Is it possible to work with linked CSS files? I bought this app to learn CSS, and I'm unable to get it to display correctly. I'm too much of a beginner to give educated feedback (which could explain why I'm having this problem), but I really like the app so far.

line number/column bug

Hineynu 14 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 14 years ago 2
Hi,

I opened a new text file in Textastic and it is reporting the incorrect line number and column. I have a couple screenshots I will upload or email. Not a high priority bug.
Answer
This will be fixed in Textastic 2.2.
