Paste not working after simple copy

Example: I'll select a few words or just a tag, copy, then hold for the paste option and no menu appears.

Home, End, and Copy-Paste on External Keyboard

I have an external bluetooth keyboard for my programming. If it's possible, could you add support for common keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C, or i guess, Apple+C for copy) and the ability to have home and end keys jump to the home and end of the line?

This is a great app, even without!
(Also, this feedback box, ironically, does NOT work on iPad... :P)

SFTP not functioning as expected

Normally, when I SFTP to a site, I'm working on the live files, so no sync is required. If the server directory structure changes, I need only refresh to see any changes.

I didn't expect Textastic's SFTP function to download a copy of the directory structure to the iPad.

Will there be support for working on remote files remotely?

The absence of search history like in SubEthaEdit is a pity. Also the editor clears the search string when switching from one file to another while the replacement string.

#Textastic Folder UI Bug/Workspaces?

Howdy. I noticed that if I load an external folder that contains a folder called #Textastic, it will show the gear icon like it does in Local Files, but does not actually use the configurations in that folder.


Ideally it would be cool if it loaded those configurations and amends or overrides the Local Files versions, similar to how workspace settings function on VS Code, but a quicker fix might be to fix the icon switching logic to only do that in Local Files.

reorder SSH list

Could you help us by allowing reorder of the SSH list? 

When clicking Edit, there is no option to reorder (to the right) as with usual iPhone/iPad lists.

May I suggest Textastic Pro for company devices prevented from doing IAP because of MDM restriction.
