You can sort the connection list manually by tapping on the Edit button and dragging the entries.

I submitted the iPhone version to Apple 10 days ago. I hope Apple approves it this week.

You can find the website with screenshots of the iPhone version of Textastic at http://www.textasticapp.com/iphone.html

There is also an updated manual available at http://www.textasticapp.com/iphone/manual/

Thanks. Cocoa error 4 happens, when the app tries to create a file in a directory that doesn't yet exist. I had another user report a similar problem with a Dropbox connection just two days ago. I'll try to reproduce it.
What's the problem with creating folders for your projects?
There is no support for VBS, sorry, but the "ASP vb.NET" syntax definition might be better than nothing in this case, too.
Yes, you can select from a large number of character encoding when opening files. Just tap-and-hold a file and choose "Open with Encoding".
Yes, you can install custom TextMate bundles since Textastic 4.0. There's a bundle for JADE available at https://github.com/miksago/jade-tmbundle

See http://www.textasticapp.com/v4/manual/lessons/How_can_I_add_my_own_syntax_definitions__themes_and_templates.html for instructions on how to install it.

Textastic has haml support built-in.
Thanks for the suggestions.

1. You can show a list of recently opened files by tapping on the file name. See http://www.textasticapp.com/v4/manual/lessons/How_can_I_show_a_list_of_recently_opened_files_How_can_I_close_the_current_file.html

4. In which cases does it fail to upload?

5. You can quickly upload and download changes for files that you have already downloaded: http://www.textasticapp.com/v4/manual/lessons/How_can_I_quickly_upload_downloaded_files.html

You are right, this currently doesn't work. I don't have a workaround, sorry. I'll see if I can fix it in an update.
