The partial syntax highlighting happened on my device a few times, but I cannot reproduce it reliably, so it is very hard to debug.
Which device do you use? I'm trying to reproduce it on an iPhone X.
Can you get it to happen every time?
Wow, that's weird. Can you please give me some details?
Which file is this? Do you have a link?
Is this with the default syntax definitions?
Thanks, I think this is just a display error where the view is not redrawn after it is highlighted. I'll try to find out what's causing the problem.
All issues mentioned here will hopefully be fixed in the next beta version.
I have now also fixed the code completion window issues.
I have fixed this issue, too. While at it, I also made it much easier to trigger the three finger single tap gesture.
I fixed the problem with TextExpander.
I cannot reproduce the CSS code completion issue since you seem to be using a custom CSS code completion file (the standard code completion file does not complete colors for example). Can you send me your CSS.json file?
Sorry, but there is no discount option for existing users of Textastic 5.
Textastic 6 is the first paid upgrade since version 1.0 was released in 2010.
Implementing split view multitasking, making the app universal and supporting iPad Pro required a rewrite of large parts of the app. Charging for Textastic 6 allows me to continue to dedicate resources to improving it.
Among other features, Textastic 6.1 added Google Drive remote connections. Textastic 6.2 added new fonts and the ability to open Git repositories from Working Copy as external folders. Emmet support and a JavaScript console was added in Textastic 6.3. Textastic 6.4 adds support for iOS 11.
Textastic 7 will also be a free update for users of Textastic 6 and will add great new features like tabs and SSH terminal.
I plan to make it so that you can open all files when using the "Open…" command (like in Kodex).
The file registrations for open-in-place and opening files from share sheets in other apps are defined in the Info.plist file of an app. This is a static file included in the app bundle that cannot be edited at runtime, so it cannot be changed when adding custom syntax definitions.

Thanks. I finally found the problem. Took only a few hours 😅
