Thanks a lot for the detailed description! I can reproduce the issue.

It's most likely a side effect of a fix for Korean text input in Textastic 9.9. I'll try to find a workaround and fix it.

This should be fixed in Textastic 9.9 which was released today.

You can also try to enable the "Debug Log" setting in the connection's settings screen. Tap on the (i) button on the right side of a connection to change its settings. This creates a log file when you try to connect to the server which might help you find out what's wrong.

If you get a "login denied" error, that usually means that the connection to the server could be established, but the authentication failed for some reason. Most probably either the user name or password is wrong. Please double-check that you are using the correct password.

I can reproduce the issue. When trying to enter "갈" using the keys "ㄱㅏㄹ", it becomes "가ㄹ" instead.

Does the app really crash for you or does it just not work correctly?

Apple changed something in iOS 16 that broke Korean input in Textastic. I haven't fixed this yet, but I'll try to fix it in the next update.

Thanks for the bug report, I'll look into it.

This seems to be a problem again on iOS 16.1.

It should now work when clicking on the checkbox. Thanks again for letting me know about this issue.
