Sorry, but did you notice that the is a upload and "download latest" button in the action menu?
If you transfer all the files through ftp to your iPad all those links are established for you 100% automatically. How is this complicated?

What? I would not want this feature.
Editing files live, would mean, every mistake you enter, like accedently highlighting everything and hitting the return key would delete both , the data on your iPad + the code on the server. How is this helpful?
You can see the Upload button as a save feature. And didn't all of us be happy once to be able to restore to the previous state?
"edit documents on the ftp without downloading them to your device."? Not going to happen, if you loose your Internet connection you have to wait? Where are the advantages? You have to refresh your browser anyway, so where is the difference between hitting 1 or 2 buttons?

Have you tried the new go to end, go to beginning Keys on the additional keyboard row?
If you hide the files while coding, usually the code isn't that long to be hidden under the navigation wheel.. (landscape?!?)
Personally I'm happy with the way it's right now, but if it's an option to try, I'll try out.

With the remote preview feature you could just enter any url in the url bar. From there you could use google.
I personally would not want e same button do something else, just because you highlighted some text.

Well, you can call it "export" if you want. ;) or simply "save".
Acctually I wouldn't access this feautre at the plus file, cause you are not creating a new file. What I would do, tap the world button, where you can transfer files, and this is what it is:
below (or above) all ftp, dropbox etc. connections, I would have an build in entry "photo library". Tapping on it does not give you a list of the filenames, but a nice thumbnail preview of all your fotoalbums. In the UI Kit, there is a very simple UIImagePickerController, where you can even crop and resize images. After selecting the pictures you want the download button now says "import". On the left window, the "upload" button changes to "save to camera roll", when selecting pictures, or just grays out. But all over this would help a lot.

Well, couldn't the button do this? "Disabling Firebug" just reloads the page?
Other way it's confusing to have this option "enable firebug", when it's already enabled.

Perfect, I did not know this. thank you!
Well, it might be cool to have an interface for this, but it's great since it's working.
