jump to top of document when switching windows between apps
Using latest public versions & OS on iPad, when moving back and forth between a document in textastic window (remote source with shellfish) and a blinkshell window the cursor jumps to top of document (I have to repeat the switching several tilmes for this to start, but it seems consistent).
Happens on external monitor with stage manager active

OK looks like even if I’m not constantly switching between apps the following can happen : if I go back to textastic, scroll to a position in the document and click, sometimes it jumps not to the clicked location but to the top of the document
I had a similar problem during development where the cursor always jumped to the beginning of the file when clicking on the editor when using the trackpad on the Magic Keyboard. I added a workaround for that, but maybe I missed a case.
Can you reliably reproduce it? If yes, it would be great if you could give me step-by-step instructions.
Is this only when using an external monitor or also on the iPad display?
Which iPadOS version are you using and which hardware?
Are you using the latest version: Textastic 10.8?
I have tried to reproduce the problem with the following configuration:
I have opened a file from Secure ShellFish.
In my tests, the cursor never jumped to the start of the file when clicking the editor while Textastic is on the external monitor.
So it would be great if you could give me more details when this happens exactly.
Does this happen only with files opened from Secure ShellFish or other files, too?
I’ll try to find a way to reproduce it, it’s happening with the new version, never had this before. I usually heavily use external files, will try with local ones too, haven’t yet. iPad Pro M4 13 too, external magic trackpad and external keyboard, iPad OS 26.0.1 too and latest (liquid glass version) textastic
