When logged into a remote server and running a command with significant output (e.g. apt upgrade) the point on the screen where new characters are printed gets out of sync with the display and appears to jump around. This seems to be an issue mostly when there are status bars or text that would be rendered off screen.

Thanks for your bug report. Can you give me a list of steps to easily reproduce the problem? Do you see the problem with other commands, too?

Also, in the static screenshot it's hard to see the problem. A screen recording video would make it easier.

For me it occurs whenever I run `apt upgrade` on a remote server. The progress bar jumps to the center of the display and then the new lines are added below it while the progress bar stays the same. Once this happens the UI is kinda messed up where there are vertical lines (not displayed) where if you try and move the cursor to the left the cursor jumps to a different line. It is really odd and has been happening for years on two different iPads and when i log into Debian, Ubuntu,  or Rasbian systems. Sorry I can’t step by step in a way that I think it will work every time.  It doesn’t work if there aren’t enough steps in the apt update to fill the display.
