Split screen so that multiple files can be edited side by side?

Please can we have the ability to edit 2 or more files side by side? On iPad Pro this would work great.

I'd also like the ability to have the same file opened in 2 separate parts of the app's window

I see this is a very old thread, yet no one has mentioned that you can do that now with Split View and open a 2nd copy of Textastic. I just tested it and it works great.

Yeah, with Split View this is definitely possible on iPad.
