Import Code from USB

Having the ability to import code from USB key via Camera Connection Kit would be cool.

I know, just an other wako idea from me.
No, this is not possible if you don't jailbreak your device.
Apple only allows the usage of the cck to import photos to the photo app, that's it.
It's a big feature I'm missing in sooo many apps. But then there is no way to get past the apple review to submit an app for the appstore.
There are very nice apps like ifile, that support this in a very clear ui, that are available in cydia.

But since Apple doesn't like jailbreaking, we should stop this discussion right here, be happy with this great app, and hope that Apple will change this. (I still don't think this is going to happen, Apple tries very hard to keep iOS without a finder, with all documents stored in the app itself. Accessing aditional external drives would require this functionallity, since documents on flash drives are stored in folders, not in apps. Therefore I don't think this will ever come to iOS, and not to Textastic.
LoL, just another wako idea from me.

Thanks guys, I might as well stop posting ideas so you don't have to waste your time answering them with your explenation on why they won't work :) .

Please keep the ideas coming! I appreciate any feedback. However, there might be restrictions on the iOS platform that I cannot work around.
No, that's not what I was trying to say.
A good app needs great ideas, every idea is needed for a great developed app.
So this is why Alexander Blach started this website. If he isn't interested in our ideas, he probably wouldn't have setup this site. (I guess I'm right here, am I not?)

I was just saying that unfortunalty this great idea is unable to be developed at this time, to avoid others posting the same idea over and over. I posted this long explanation, that people aren't thinking it's the developers fault.

Keep posting great ideas!
