Connect Textastic to localhost on my MacBook Pro

Is there away to connect Textastic to localhost on my MacBook Pro so that I can edit files?

You can use the FTP, SFTP or WebDAV clients in Textastic to connect to your Macbook Pro. Go to System Preferences -> Sharing on your Mac and enable Remote Login.

You could also start the builtin WebDAV server of Textastic and connect to this with Finder: http://www.textasticapp.com/v4/manual/lessons/Connecting_to_Textastic_with_Finder.html

An alternative would be Dropbox.
