Filter / exclude files to download

When I connect to my local FTP server I get into my checkout folder (using subversion) when I download the folder I get all .svn folders (I know git does something similar) it would be nice to configure the FTP to do not download the control version related files. Transmit for Mac has this characteristic.

Filtering on all file views would be great - I want to filter out *.bak files!

exactly, on every project there are several "garbage" files that textactic currently doesn´t know how to hadlen, so there is no reason for them to be downloaded. And some times they cause errors while downloading.

+1 for filtering out files, would need wildcard filter for name and extension.
