CSS styles aren't applied in the Preview

My style sheets aren't applied to the HTML code in preview, is this something that is missing? Or am I doing something wrong?

Please double-check that the URL to your .css file is correct. The file system on iOS devices is case-sensitive!

I am having the same issue...I have imported a website (which works fine on my pc and android) with Working Copy onto my ipad (with the whole working directory) and I can open and edit it fine with Textastic but if I preview it. It won't see the CSS style sheets and I just see the plain HTML page. So I have to open it in iFile's browser, which is the only browser I have seen that works with a local css site.

When you use the "Open…" command in Textastic, the operating system opens Textastic's sandbox so that it can access the file you choose in the document picker. Textastic does not have access to other files in the same folder, so the web preview screen does not show CSS or image files.

You could also use the Preview feature in Working Copy instead. It trivially has access to all the files and can include everything in its preview.

ok, thanks for the info. I guess there's no way around that even if you have a jailbroke device?

Do you know of any other browsers that work around the sandbox issue?

No, sorry. I don't use jailbreaks myself.
