Cannot open any file in iPad running IOS 9

On an iPad running IOS 9, Textastic freezes at startup and doesn't allow opening any file.

Please try to reboot your device. It fixed a similar issue for me.

Under iOS 9, I'm having problems with getting keypad to pop up at the bottom of the screen. Seems very inconsistent.

To bring up the keyboard, you need to do a single tap on the text. If you do a double-tap before the keyboard is up, it will only select the text so you can copy or cut it. This is consistent with Apple's Notes app, for example.
