Splitting view vertically
It would be great to be able to split the text view vertically. For instance working on a .h and .c file at the same time and being able to see both files at the same time without the need to start two instances. Also very useful when comparing files.

A vertical split would be an extremely useful feature, in particular for academic long form writing. Sources in one window, the working draft in another, for example. Yes, this can be approximated by opening a second window, but having it all in the same workflow would be sublime.
