contextual menu & dock

1st off - I love Textastic, it's my default file editor and quite handy. But also I have I feature request: A contextual dock-menu entry named 'New File'. Maybe two entries - one for local files and one for iCloud files. Lets say I have something in my clipboard I want to paste somewhere - the easiest thing I know would be to right-click the dock, select 'New' and paste it. That would be splendid!
