Custom URL scheme support
It would be nice to be able to import files from an URL into textastic using a custom URL scheme (like GoodReader does with its 'ghttp' custom URL scheme).

I've implemented a textastic:// URL scheme for Textastic 3.1.
maybe just an 'enter url' dialog. useful if you wanna download a file (e.g. an image) for working offline and don't have the ftp or webdav login data.
I think the creator of this topic meant a different feature: every app can register url schemes. For example, Textastic could register a textastic:// url scheme. This would allow you to use Safari to open files/urls with Textastic.

Can you please add a URL scheme for sftp:// and ftp:// so it opens a new connection that is ready t o save? Many of the SSH apps like Prompt do this for ssh://username:password@example.com/path/to/files/
Thanks a lot for implementing this! You may want to add textastic on the custom URL scheme list at http://handleopenurl.com/
Fantastic app! Thank you very much.
Is there any chance you could add support for AppCubby's Launcher app? Not really support I suppose, but add Textastic's information, so the icon can be included in their Launcher App?

Thank you!
