iOS Widget for Custom Made Games
TBH, this idea is just for fun. I thought it would pretty cool that if we could code our own games with Textastic and play it both on the app and widget. Now, the widget would have its own settings in the app. The user can enable controls to include in the widget such as left, right, up, down, jump and etc.. That way, easier for making simple games without worrying about controls. Again, this idea is just for fun.

This sounds like a nice idea, but it's probably out of the scope of Textastic because it is so specific. Maybe it would be a good idea for a new app.
Hi there! Thanks, and I'm glad you like the idea. I was thinking the same thing too, if you make a separate app, the coding from Textastic can be exported into the new app for games. Or, the new app could be a game builder with a library of presets and resources contributed by the community. Then, you can save the game as homescreen app. Who knows? It may well be something like Unreal Engine or Unity but for more simplier and miniature games haha
Anyway, all the best then, I'll let you decide. I hope I do get to see either one.
