Today - I love Textastic, it's my default file editor. But also I have I feature request: A contextual right click mouse-menu and customizable menu! In this menu, at least search, replace and others fast fonction.

Modelines are a way for a file to describe settings such as indentation. Basic support for modelines exists in Visual Studio Code through an extension.

Sidebar reverts to hidden after closing app so each time the app is run, the sidebar has to be manually switched to visible.

Very annoying and easy to fix.

I am using Textastic since a few weeks. Quite often I encounter crashes. Textastic just quits.

I am storing my documents in the Document folder which is synced with my iCloud.

Today Textastic crashed again. But this time I cannot start it again. Textastic always quits on start.

Are there any issues known like these?

The interface is too old, the colors for the code are horrendous

and the bar with the numbers for the lines is very bad. I advise you to update the graphics inspired by that of Xcode. You do it and I will be happy to reacquaint the app.

The current dark mode support with macOS Mojave changes the interface. I was wondering if it was able to change the theme/colour scheme depending on whether it is light or dark mode?
