Groovy & Grails Support

Marco Vermeulen 13 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 13 years ago 6
Hi,
It would be great if your editor would recognise .groovy and .gsp files. I would spread the word to all my friends in the G&G community about this editor if it did!
Hope it's not too difficult to add another language defintion...
Cheers,
Marco.

Auto save

Fiorino 4 years ago in General updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 3 years ago 7

Please add an option to disable auto save feature (and add a “Save” button). I work with apps like shellfish in live servers and in the meantime I add some PHP code then I get always errors until I have finished my modifications.

Add Shortcuts App into your App

gsward 5 years ago in General updated by Jason Cardwell 2 years ago 5

Many apps support Shortcuts in Apple’s Shortcut App (e.g. Working Copy). If you were to add the actions for New File, Append File, Upload/Download File, and SSH Command I could automate my entire build process through the Shortcut App in your App.

Beautify and Minify

Louis 88 7 years ago in iPad updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 7 years ago 1

Did you know there is NO iOS app that formats (specifically, Beautifies) HTML, CSS, etc?  I

As the iPad is poised to become a laptop replacement, I'm hoping these features can be added to Textastic to make coding workflows much easier than having to copy and paste and visit a website to do it online....one file at a time.

I am developing simple HTML/CSS/PHP websites solely on my iPad Pro.  The workflow is still not convenient, but it is possible.  I hope my suggestions are useful.

Thank you, again, for the finest text editing app for iPad.  I only use DraftCode because of my PHP development, but if not for that....Textastic would be my only app!  I appreciate your efforts very much!  Vielen dank!

Provide text formatting options

bob deskin 14 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 14 years ago 2
I'd like to see more of the standard text formatting functions, such as transformations (upshift, downshift, etc) and substitutions (smart quotes, etc). Maybe when you touch and hold, an added option on the Cut/Copy/Select popup.

Convert a selection into bold, italic or other tags (html).

Syntax Highlighting is sometimes wrong with strings / quotes / quotation marks

Alexander Blach (Developer) 14 years ago updated by G Han (Matebox in Motion) 9 years ago 14 3 duplicates
In some cases the syntax coloring is wrong when there are nested quotation marks.
Answer
I've implemented a new syntax highlighter for Textastic 3.0 that fixes the issue. It will be available in the next update.

Russell Jurney 13 years ago 0
I need to commit my changes via git. You should integrate with github.

I need to remote execute my code on my Mac. Ruby. Integrate with Rack.
