That’s correct. I used the “Create External File” command. Entered a titled and file extension (.txt), then click “Choose Location” and selected a directory on OneDrive and clicked “Move”. I didn’t receive any errors when creating the file, but I’m getting the same “helper application” error now when trying to retrace my steps. I def was not offline - have been working from around the house on stable Wi-Fi.

I just had the exact same experience using OneDrive. Is there a local cache I can access to recover my data?
