I'm the developer of Secure ShellFish and while I haven't seen or heard of this behaviour before I would love to investigate.

Could you perhaps make a screen recording where this happens and sent it to anders@secureshellfish.app ? 

Then I could hopefully find out why it happens and make improvements.
