Option to disable iCloud

A option to disable the iCloud integration would be great. It could then open a new document straightaway when starting the app. This could also disable autosave, which makes problems when remote editing with Transmit, Forklift...

You can disable iCloud in the systems settings of your Mac. Then the startup behavior is as you describe.

But this would disable it for other applications as well or is it possible to disable it for specific applications?

Yes, it would be disabled for all applications.
