Would be handy to be able to do this from within Textastic.

This feature is needed in order for me to be productive with this app.
I downloaded a configuration file from my website, modified it, great!
Got error when trying to upload file.
Had to go to FTP on the go to chmod file and folder, then back to your app to upload file, then back to FTP on the go to change permissions back!
You see the problem.
Your other competitors all have the ability to do chmod from within their app's.
This feature is needed to really allow me to really use this app.
I can't believe more people haven't talked about this. It makes me wonder if serious work is really being done with this app. File and folder security is a big deal.
I really love your app. Please all this feature to keep me from having to switch back and forth between apps.
Need this bad. Real pain having to exit program to chmod to upload files
Hello,

currently, setting FTP file permissions (chmod) is not possible in Textastic, but I plan to add this in a future update.

12 months ago you said this feature is planned ... has it been added yet? It is something I'd need and am looking at the different coding apps to decide which one would be best for me.
It's still on my todo list. As a workaround, you can use an SSH app like Prompt or iSSH in addition to Textastic.
