autoconvert space to tabs

automatically converting spaces into tabs is a big nono, can you please make that a setting?

I'm not sure what you mean. Textastic doesn't convert spaces to tabs automatically.

I've had the same experience, and yes it is bothersome. Here is the fix:

Under "Settings" there is a switch for "TextExpander" - set that to OFF and this effect should disappear.
