This is implemented in Textastic 2.0.

You can also search for "\n" (newline) and "\t" (tab). This allows you for example to replace all newline characters with two newline characters.

I've also added options for:
- Match whole words
- Case sensitive search
- Diacritic sensitive search
Hello. I'm looking for this fonction since i got an iPad 4 months ago!
I will instantly by your app when you'll implement it!
YES. Must have
Yes me too, find and replace would be a killer feature
This is a must.... When you implement, make sure that you can add invisible characters (such as tab and return) into the search/replace character strings....
Regular expressions as search / replace would be just perfect

Just wanted to say I love the Search UI. Great job.
Thanks! I'm glad you like it.
Regexp would be superb - then we can use it to manipulate large amounts of data as well. I use BBEdit for this all the time...
Site-wide find and replace would be great! Or, select files to include in find and replace. Thanks for the great app. nice work
