Launch time is very slow. What should I do to fix this?

Is there somewhere to get rid OS temp files or some such. I tried deleting files I don't need, but the launch time seems pretty show.

Textastic loads all syntax definitions on startup. I have already optimized the startup speed but I hope to further improve this in the future. I don't think there's anything you can do about it.

A suggestion then, perhaps the user could disable syntax definitions they are not using? I only use PHP, SQL and CSS myself. I was thinking maybe there were temp files or something I needed to delete, but now I know that's not the case.

Thanks for a great product!
I hope I can improve performance by loading the syntax definitions when they are needed instead of at application startup.

Just to make sure there isn't another problem: are you using and iPad 1 or 2? Can you give me an estimate, how long it takes to launch the app?
on my ipad1:
no opened multitasking apps
every time about 7 seconds
I spent the evening optimizing the start-up time of Textastic. For me it is now about twice as fast. On my iPad 2 the app launches in about 4 seconds now. This optimization will be available in the next update.
which update do you mean with the next? please provide a roadmap explaning your ideas and the planned features for textastic
It will be in the version after the current 3.2.
