Create a UIWebview so that we can preview changes done on website work. I was thinking about making this app and then I saw your text editor.

Local Web Preview is implemented. Will be available in the next version.

I've posted a demo on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAq6W5wnNAk&hd=1
Should this option be enabled for all kinds of files or only HTML?

For example, php commands wouldn't be interpreted by UIWebView but people might still want to see it.
Well, what I'd really like is the ability to have a project that is a website. Some projects are JavaScript+HTML only and a web view would be fine for local viewing. Other sites need the server. So, I'd want to be able to view my site locally or remotely through the web view.
Well, with multi-tasking in 4.2, Safari is only a three taps away. So I would only implement a local preview.

Otherwise I would have to raise the rating to 17+ because it would be a browser...
Three taps away and then entering in the URL (or clicking a bookmark, but might need to navigate to a specific page too). An 'Open in Safari' link be better. But it's also not true multi-tasking, so there is startup time required to get back into the same context.

I'm not sure you'd have to raise the rating: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/reeder-for-ipad/id375661689?mt=8. This app allows you to view webpages from an RSS feed and is 4+.

Maybe the feature is just out of scope for what you want to do with this app.
It would be fine rendering local html/javascript/css files, even if ressources are located in directories.(Sorry for the english). I don't think Safari can read local content in iOS 4.2 (i've installed it, i've to verifiy). Textastic will become the best tools for "onboard programming" :-) Some years ago, i developped on palm with PP, OnBoardC and PocketC

Awesome! Looking forward to playing with it. Any ideas when 1.1 is coming to the App Store?
The features I want to have in 1.1 are mostly implemented. I just need to add some finishing touches and thoroughly test it. I hope to submit it to the App Store this week.
Wow just downloaded your app and I LOVE it so far, I am taking a few HTML classes this semester and this app is perfect for what I am doing. I was thinking how much better it would be with a preview option and YAY you are bringing it soon! Cant wait to use that new feature!!! Thank you!!
