Lee Zhen Yong 12 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 9 years ago 6
Is MEL support as in Maya Embedded Language? and if it is then why is there no syntax highlighting and ANSI encoding?

Add a server time offset field to match local time, so local files have same time stamp.

This would also most likely solve the synchronization of only changed files issue raised by hassan habbak 4 months ago.

Send HTML file as email body

Alexander Blach (Developer) 13 years ago updated 13 years ago 0
Use Textastic to write your html mails:

Allow the user to send an html file as the email body instead of as an attachment. This could be an option when the user selects "Mail File" from the file action popover.

Markdown to HTML: Inline HTML <link>; '<' to HTML Entity

Lester Lab 11 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 11 years ago 3

I like your app!

I'm a new user [Textastic 4.3, iOS 5.1.1, iPod Touch 5th gen].  I'm also a Markdown newbie.

Is it expected behavior that a Markdown file containing a line consisting only of a <link></link> tag, that is separated from the rest of the Markdown text with blank lines, and with no blank spaces preceding the tag, "Generates HTML" with this tag enclosed between <p></p>?  Or is this a bug?

Also, is it unexpected that a '<' character embedded within a Markdown text line is not converted to its HTML entity?

The behavior of the second item affects the output to the Preview.

Support for T2D (TouchDraw) file extensions

Terry Cabeen 12 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 12 years ago 1
I'd love to be able to open native Touchdraw files from mail and not have to go through dropbox. They're basically SVG format, so SVG syntax highlighting could theoretically be automatically applied when t2d files are opened?

Thanks :D

Add Rackspace Cloud Files Support

elronaldo 13 years ago 0
In addition to Dropbox support it would be nice if you added support for Rackspace Cloud Files.  Then we could access all our company cloud files if we need to restore some code from a backup that is stored in the cloud.

Details on the Rackspace Cloud files API is available at http://www.rackspace.com/cloud/cloud_hosting_products/files/api/

You could also add support for Amazon S3 storage containers.

Import delimited data text files

Olivier Lambert 11 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 11 years ago 1

Could delimited data text files (tab, comma, pipe,....) be imported into Textastic? The file would be made of a header containing the column names and then numerous records for the actual data. The search/replace feature of Textastic could then be used by column. In other words could the text data be viewed as in a spreadsheet with actions being performed by column (find, replace, sort,...).

Apples' Numbers application has major limitations such as the maximum number of rows.

Thanks.
