Save As

Why no simple Save As dialog?  Let me save my files exactly where I want to put them.

Textastic uses the new standard file handling in Lion and Mountain Lion.

If you click on the "File" menu and press the alt key, the "Duplicate" command becomes "Save As".

thank you for the response, I wasn't aware that was now standard in Mountain Lion.

Many applications still use the old menu items. But if you take a look at Apple's apps like Preview or TextEdit, you'll see that they have the same File menu as Textastic.
