I’ve checked the app settings and found nothing on there. Any way to keep the sessions alive?

There are two many times that I have to refer to the web for information and answers. But switching between apps constantly is such a pain. Please consider  to add an embedded web browser for online reference. And it would be great if bookmark, tab-view is supported.

I just found out that some apps (e.g. Goodreader) allow users to access their OneDrive for Business by inserting the Sharepoint URL in WebDAV. So far I can’t get it to work in Textastic. I get an error message “Error 403”. Am I missing something?

It would be great to switch the content of the left hand pane to display the go-to symbols of the currently open file rather than the file list. I realise I can see the symbols list as a hover-over list by touching the symbol but if attached to the left pane it could be permanently open while I have the iPad in landscape mode. 

Subject pretty much says it all, I think the app is great as it is but when using a dark theme the brightness of that lone bar up top is a bit distracting - perhaps it could be adjusted in tone or something?  Thanks :)

Bug report from a customer: Extra keys remain displayed on iPad (should disappear) when using a bluetooth external keyboard *and* virtual keyboard is split (no problem when virtual keyboard is not split). Thanks!

When viewing a regular Markdown file in the Files app, and after selecting Textastic from the share sheet once (which sets Textastic as the default app to open Markdown files in), an "Open in Textastic..." prompt will appear in the upper right of the file preview in the Files app.

This would be great to enable for .Rmd files (and basically any other text file extension) because it would streamline my workflow of searching for a file in the iOS Spotlight, then being able to click that prompt to open the file quicker than having to go find and open Textastic first, click "Open..." and find the file.

This might be a limitation with iOS Files though, I'm not sure, because the iOS Files app displays text preview of .md files whereas it does not for .Rmd files.

Using an iPad with a physical keyboard with Textastic is really powerful. It would become even more powerful if you can use the touchscreen as a trackpad to navigate documents and select text. This is possible in iOS 12. Check out this tweet for details.

This should be possible to make work when using the iOS text APIs.

Some text exitors have the ability to move the current line or selection up or down using the keyboard. This has many used, for reordering blocks or lines.

A number of mac apps including sublime text and omnioutliner use the shortcut cmd + ctl + up/down

It would be great if you could replace certain code with edited code in the whole project
