Textastic 2.0 is now available on the App Store!

New Features:
• FTP and Dropbox client
• Find and replace
• Rename, copy and move files and folders
• Web preview for Markdown files
• Send HTML and Markdown files as HTML e-mail
• Support for multitasking
• Select a line by tapping on the line number
• Read-only mode
• Settings for auto-correction and auto-capitalization
• Added Inconsolata font

Fixed:
• Lines are now broken on word boundaries
• Chinese and Japanese characters are now displayed
• UTF-16 files can now be opened

Thanks to your feedback, this version also fixes a lot of other minor issues.

Just loaded 2.0 on the iPad, and loaded my full Rails app into Textastic.

Quick Glance results are:

Rename/copy/move are tremendous time/tap savers.

Inconsolata font looks nice, but is just a tad too small for me (sticking with Luxi for now).

Read-only mode should be great for code browsing where you don't want an errant tap or swipe to alter any code (been there and done that already).

Find and replace will be quite useful as well.

If you are a developer, or just someone who reads code (I know a few compulsive Tech Support and QA folks like that), are an iPad user, and don't currently own this app, get it!

If you are a current Textastic user, upgrade now!
