Why are no options "Links to Remote Connections" visable for a file I download from Dropbox to my iPad?

I installed Dropbox on my iPad3 and linked it to Textastic.

I was able to successfully view and edit the document in Textastic.

The File Properties > Links to Remote Connections shows:

Not Linked, but there are no options to select.

Did you move the file after you downloaded it? If you move or rename a file, the link to the remote location is lost.

I did not rename the file.
I did not move the file within /Dropbox  .
I don't know how to move a file within the filesystem on an iPad.

Hrmm, maybe I read your post wrong. Did you first upload or download the file from or to Dropbox using the file transfer screen ("globe" button)? The link is established by uploading or download the file.

It's explained in the manual at http://www.textasticapp.com/v4/manual/lessons/How_can_I_quickly_upload_downloaded_files.html
